"Raising Voices … Changing Lives"
The Cleveland BoyChoir has been “Raising Voices, Changing Lives” since 1991. Cleveland area young men participate in the program from third grade through high school in training choirs, the SuperChoir and the Men of Tomorrow.
This is an independent, nonprofit organization that does not charge a membership fee from the participants and exists through the generosity of the community. Please join our mission to challenge inner-city boys to reach their full potential by providing life-changing opportunities through music.
Auditions
Auditions for boys third grade and up can be arranged by calling 440-356-3936 for an appointment. Rehearsals are held at the Cleveland Music School Settlement, 11125 Magnolia Avenue in University Circle. Membership in the Cleveland BoyChoir is free and open to all Cleveland residents.
Crescendo
The Cleveland BoyChoir’s annual benefit will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 6:00 to 10:00 pm, at the Cleveland Skating Club. For more information, call the Cleveland BoyChoir office at 440-356-3936.
In Their Own Words
“My son isn’t the same shy little boy that joined the choir three years ago. There is no doubt in my mind that it is because of his involvement with this organization that he is developing into a fine young man.”
Pamela, mother
“I like being in the Cleveland BoyChoir because I can be happy and get to sing. I like singing in the concerts and meeting people.”
Tyree, 4th grade
